Your information, handled with care.
This notice explains how WaveBNB Pro handles personal information when you browse this website or contact us about website and marketing services. Our privacy contact is Daniel Rey at daniel@wavebnb.com.
Who this notice covers
WaveBNB Pro is the care-home website and marketing service owned by Daniel Rey. This notice concerns enquiries about our agency services. It does not cover a care provider’s own handling of residents’ or families’ information.
For a privacy question or request, email daniel@wavebnb.com and tell us enough to identify the enquiry or information involved.
Information you choose to provide
Our project form asks for your name, work email, telephone number, care home or company name, existing website where applicable, number of homes, package interest, whether the project is a new website or redesign, and additional requirements. We also record the submission time and any marketing preference you select.
Fields marked as required are needed to handle the request. Providing information is voluntary, but without a usable contact method we may be unable to respond. Please send business project information only. Do not include residents’ names, health details, care records or information about another person’s care needs.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to understand the project, respond to questions, prepare a relevant proposal and manage the conversation. We also use necessary technical request information to protect the form and website against spam, misuse and security incidents.
For ordinary business enquiries and website security, our basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, running the service and protecting it. Where you personally ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we may use the information needed for those steps on that basis. Optional marketing is handled separately on the basis of consent.
Your enquiry is separate from marketing
You do not have to agree to promotional email to make an enquiry. We can respond to the request and discuss the project without adding you to a marketing list.
If you choose the optional marketing box, we record that preference for email updates about WaveBNB Pro’s website and marketing services. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing daniel@wavebnb.com or using an unsubscribe option in a marketing message. Withdrawal does not affect how we handled information before you withdrew it.
Where enquiries are held and who can access them
Submitted enquiries are stored as private records in this website’s WordPress administration area. A notification is sent to Daniel’s business mailbox so the enquiry can be reviewed. These records are not published as website pages or made available as public form submissions.
Hostinger provides the website hosting and business email infrastructure. Authorised people administering the website or responding to your enquiry can access the information needed for that work. We do not sell enquiry information or provide it to care homes as a marketing list. Information may be disclosed where the law requires it or where necessary to address a legal or security matter.
How long we keep it
Website enquiry records are normally retained for up to twelve months. Eligible records are removed through a daily cleanup process. An enquiry linked to an active client matter may be retained while that matter continues and while associated information remains necessary.
If the enquiry becomes a client relationship, the applicable project, contract, accounting and legal record requirements may differ. Email correspondence, security logs and backup copies are managed separately from the website enquiry record. We review them according to their purpose rather than treating them as an indefinite marketing archive. You can ask us about the information held in your particular case.
Technical information and cookies
The website and hosting services may process connection and security information, such as an IP address, request time and browser information, to serve pages and protect the service. The form uses technical checks to limit spam and repeated requests.
This website does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or cross-site advertising trackers. It does not build advertising profiles from browsing behaviour. The Cookie Policy explains the limited use of necessary website technologies. We will update these notices before introducing a materially different use of information.
Service locations and external links
Hosting, email and technical support can involve service providers or access in more than one country. You can contact Daniel for information about the services handling your enquiry and their applicable data arrangements.
Links to illustrative demos or external services take you to separate websites. Check the notice on the destination site when deciding whether to provide information there.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, have information erased, restrict its use or receive certain information in a portable form. Some rights have legal conditions or exceptions.
You can object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests. You can always object to its use for direct marketing and withdraw marketing consent. Email daniel@wavebnb.com to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify that the request concerns your data.
We do not use this enquiry form to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Questions or complaints
Please contact Daniel at daniel@wavebnb.com if you have a concern about how your information has been handled. You may also complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office. Information about making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
